Preparing for Pesach starts early at Kisharon with everyone keen to familiarise themselves once again with the Pesach story and traditions.
Kisharon Noé School has achieved a ‘good’ rating, and won praise for high expectations and pupil focus from Ofsted in its first inspection since becoming a free school and moving to new premises in Parson Street, Hendon in 2020.
Kisharon has been awarded £30k by Barnet for a winter warmers project at Childs Hill Library in Cricklewood to address the cost of living crisis and help refugee families living in a local hotel.
“Kisharon is the charity the children themselves choose to support,” said Justin Kett, Deputy Head and Head of Kodesh at Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary School.
The run-up to Purim at Kisharon can be just as hectic as the day itself and staff start preparations early so everyone can enjoy the noisiest, most boisterous – but arguably the most fun – festival in the Jewish calendar.
