Childs Hill Library

 
Childs Hill Library is a partnership library run by Kisharon

Our welcoming community hub staffed by volunteers is open and we look forward to welcoming you to our friendly library to take part in one of our regular activities and to borrow books.

The library provides work experience to people with learning disabilities. Currently 11 people with learning disabilities work in the library every week.

Childs Hill Library is at:
320 Cricklewood Lane, London, NW2 2QE

Opening hours are:
Sun 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Mon 10.00am – 1.00pm
Tue 10.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Wed 2.00pm – 8.00pm
Thu 2.00pm – 5.00pm

Weekly activities:

Rhyme time for babies and toddlers – Every Tuesday 10.15am -10.45am
Interactive songs, rhymes and stories for babies and toddlers.  

IT drop-in for seniors – Every Tuesday 11am-12.30pm
Do you need help starting to use a laptop or smartphone?  Do you have problems with your email or shopping online? Or would you just like to relax with a cup of tea and chat?  Then drop in on Tuesday mornings.  All over 55s welcome, with easy disabled access.  

English at Tea Time Every Tuesday 3.35pm – 5pm (6-8 year olds), Every Thursday 3.35pm – 5pm (9-11 year olds).
Sessions for children new to English.

Conversation Café for adults – Every Wednesday 2-5pm
Conversation Café is for people whose first language is not English and who would like to improve their speaking skills. The sessions cover a variety of subjects and topics to help you gain confidence in speaking English in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment.

Lego for primary school children – Every Wednesday 3.30pm-4.30pm
Let your imagination run wild with lego. Suitable for primary school children.

Shared Reading for adults (online & in person)- Every Thursday 11am-12.30pm
Our Shared Reading group is a place to relax, make new friends and share stories with others every week. You can just drop in, sit down and enjoy listening to a great story or poem- there’s no pressure to talk or read.
