Kisharon and Jnetics team up for London Bridges Challenge

08 August 2022

Last Sunday, Kisharon and Jnetics ran a fun, family- friendly walking challenge taking in London’s iconic bridges between Vauxhall Bridge and Tower Bridge with participants raising money for both charities.

This is the third Kisharon London Bridges Walk, and this time partnered with Jnetics, a charity which raises awareness and facilitate access to the best available information, services and support for those affected and at risk of Jewish genetic disorders.

Kisharon believes that people with learning disabilities should live in a world where they have the same opportunities as their mainstream peers and enables people they support to thrive. The walk was a great opportunity for participants including those Kisharon supports to spend time with friends and family outdoors and explore the best that London has to offer. Over 50 people took part, and everyone enjoyed superb views of the London skyline as they walked across the many historic bridges along the Thames.

Carolyn Rozenberg, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Kisharon said, “Thank you to everyone who joined us to take part in the London Bridges Walk. It was fantastic to see a number of people supported by the charity taking part with staff and walking alongside participants of all ages. The money raised will enable people Kisharon supports to learn, grow and thrive.”

Nicole Gordon, CEO at Jnetics said, “What a wonderful day was had by all in the glorious London sunshine raising funds to ensure that Jnetics can continue our life saving work. We are hugely appreciative of all the walkers who took part.”
