Evie hosts the Chief Rabbi

28 April 2015

Chuckling Evie Rubinoff, four, a pupil at Tuffkid Nursery, stole the limelight as Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis met key supporters of Kisharon.

Rabbi Mirvis shared his thoughts on the Hebrew word shulchan which means table and shalach meaning sending, while noting that in the Jewish tradition, a table is a place where connections and family bonding takes place.

He said: “Many of you will have the responsibility of being table hosts and you will send out a huge amount of energy, inspiration and ideas. You will inspire other people, making them as excited as we are about the incredible work of Kisharon and encouraging them to make a real contribution through their financial support.”

He added: “Kisharon is amazing. What a wonderful organisation and everything that you invest in it will bear incredible fruit – that’s why I am here, because I am a passionate supporter of Kisharon.”
