Age is no barrier when it comes to Pesach cleaning at Tuffkid Nursery. Children took turns at duster duty, and tackled floors with a toy vacuum cleaner.
Surfaces in the nursery’s home corner were cleaned and covered before the children changed over to Pesach crockery.
Determination to teach a truly authentic Pesach experience meant the children took part in conventional activities like compiling Haggadot, making – and eating – charoset, learning songs and smelling strong horseradish.
But they also sampled particularly memorable aspects of Pesach too and learned how to lean to the left – without leaning too far, watched live tadpoles and squeezed grapes to make their own grape juice.
