Support our cyclists in the Prudential Ride

19 July 2017

Good luck to the 11 Kisharon riders taking part in the 100-mile Prudential Ride London on July 30. You can cheer them on along the route which follows closed roads through the capital and into the Surrey countryside.

The 11 are: Simon Samuels, Eli Younger, Joel Sager, Mendy Freundlich, Russell Tenzer, Abe Rosenfield, Simon Selouk, Moishe Vogel, Paul Koopman, Leon Angel and Johnny Marks.

Joel, Headteacher at Pardes House Primary School, said: “I am very much looking forward to taking part in my second Prudential 100 and delighted to be riding for Kisharon once again. Although my training has not gone as planned in the last three weeks due to work overload and an injury, I will put all my effort into not just completing the ride but doing it in a good time.”

The route was made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics. The event starts at 5.45am at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the last riders expected to reach the finish on The Mall in central London by 5.45pm.

The event is part of a three-day annual festival of cycling. It is anticipated that thousands of spectators will take up cycling after the event.

“The world stands on three things: Torah, the service of G-d, and deeds of kindness.” Kisharon looks at the person not the disability, teaching Torah, Middos and Mitzvot embracing and cherishing everybody’s special talent and bringing out the best in them.
