There were plenty of worms to find at Kisharon School’s new gardening club.
The children brought the worms, embedded in thick mud, inside the classroom and spoke about how they live.
Next, using ready-cut wood, they made and decorated birdhouses.
The muddy ground proved a good topic of conversation for the children, who talked about rain and the dry, parched earth that follows sunshine.
The club is run by the school’s Extra-Curriculum Coordinator, Jes Waldman.
