A fond farewell

11 August 2016

Kisharon is organising a farewell party for its four Israeli volunteers this Monday, August 15.

The bnot sheirut, Shifra Yunger, Sivan Sagiv, Noa Goldeich and Maayan Fedder, volunteering at Kisharon in place of their national service, are returning to Israel next week, and Kisharon is throwing them a party at Lionel Leighton Court, Beverley Gardens between 5-6pm.

Working primarily at Kisharon School, the young women introduced countless innovative ideas for enhancing the children’s Jewish studies and love for all things Israeli. For Purim, they transformed the school hall into a palace and worked so long into the night that, at 10pm, School Principal Sora Kopfstein asked them to leave!

Women in supported living enjoyed input from the bnot sheirut too. The volunteers did arts and crafts activities with the women each week and helped at events across all of Kisharon throughout their year in London.
