Kisharon is working with Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue in a two-year community engagement relationship.

From now until 2017, members of the Norrice Lea shul will have the chance to volunteer with Kisharon, as well as helping with fundraising. Rene Anisfeld, the lay shul board member who brokered the arrangement, explained: “We all go to dinners and lunches but with this, we want to stimulate members to volunteer and see what Kisharon does.

Maybe Kisharon could provide work experience for our children and engage different age groups in our community. We want action rather than cheque writing.” Kisharon was selected by the shul from around 16 good causes.
