Purim work for college students

07 March 2022

Kisharon College students have packed 1800 mishloach manot for children in time for Purim.

The bags with sweets, crisps and a drink will be given to pupils at primary schools and at cheder parties and other shul communal events.

An important work opportunity, the students counted the sweets and packed the bags themselves in this year’s Purim social enterprise initiative. No income is generated by the project but any buyer or recipient who wishes to make a donation can do so.

Marketing Consultant Sara Gatoff said: “This is the first project the students have completed in partnership with local primary schools and we are very grateful to the parents, PTA and staff at Sinai Jewish Primary School, Etz Chaim Primary School, Alma Primary School and Rimon Jewish Primary School for their support and for partnering with us.

“Thanks too for the support of Belsize Square Synagogue, Radlett Reform Synagogue, Sha’arei Tsedek, and the Liberal Jewish Synagogue. We are also very grateful to the staff at Kosher Outlet for their help in supplying everything.”
