At our buildings in Golders Green and Stamford Hill, we offer person-centered opportunities in a caring and fun environment, with a strong focus on life skills.
Capacity is currently limited to maintain social distancing and we run popular online sessions online for those at home.
Our new routine includes temperature checks for everyone in our buildings, and those who can wear PPE in communal areas. Staff and attenders carry out activities in ‘bubbles’ to keep safe.
Swimming, gym attendance and cookery – except for our sessions online – are currently suspended but there is an absorbing array of learning activities. Wellbeing and keeping fit is encouraged, and those attending take part in exercise sessions online and go for local walks. Many enjoy our online cookery sessions and those at home also participate.
Other activities include pottery, music and bingo games and there are outings to interesting locations nearby including the RAF Museum in Hendon. Jewish religious services take place every day.
Our buildings are open five days a week from 9-4pm and attendance can be daily or for a few hours each week. There are separate areas and groups for men and women.
