The special bracha Birkat Ha’llanot was recited on the first sighting of blossom on a fruit tree in the garden at Leeside Crescent.

Residents at Leeside Crescent marked the arrival of spring by saying the bracha, which is said once a year and ideally in the month of Nissan. Luckily the blossom was spotted on March 30 – the 3rd of Nissan.  The bracha was recited by Eliezer Chontow, Moishe Goldblatt, Bezy Gluck, Meir Halpern. Clive Rosenfeld provided support.
