Mazeltov!

11 August 2016

Newlyweds Sruli Portnoy and Chaya Trappler had a Bag My Treats send off!

At his aufruf at Hale and District Hebrew Congregation, where his father Rabbi Joel Portnoy is the rav, Sruli was showered with multicoloured pouches of Bag My Treats sweets.

His mother, Rebbetzin Ruthie heard about Bag My Treats from fellow Rebbetzin Freda Kaplan of Hampstead Garden Suburb shul. Rebbetzin Ruthie said: “I was delighted. I don’t like buying sweets because they are so unhealthy, but knowing I was supporting a good cause made all the difference. It’s a fantastic idea. It really appealed to me. It was very entertaining seeing grown men fighting over the bags and then enjoying the sweets!”

Rebbetzin Ruthie’s daughter, who lives in Hendon, brought the bags to Hale.

Would you like Bag My Treats at your simcha or on your Shabbos or yomtov table? For more information, email:bagmytreats@kisharon.org.uk
