London Bridges Walk Frequently Asked Questions

What is the London Bridges Walk?

The London Bridges Walk is a challenge fundraising event for Kisharon and Jnetics. There are options to walk 6.5 miles or 13 miles over many of the bridges between Putney and Tower Bridge.

 When is it taking place?
Sunday 3rd July 2022

How much does it cost to enter?
Adult = £15
Children – under 18 on the day of the event = £10. Must be accompanied by an adult.
Corporate teams – up to 5 participants per team = £60.
Your entry fee goes towards the cost of your participation and running the event safely.

Who can take part?
Anyone with a moderate level of fitness. All ages are welcome but those aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Do I have to be in a team?
No. Many people will be taking part on their own. If you would like to take part as a team, why not get a group of friends, colleagues or family together?

How can I enter?
You can register online here. Or please call the team on 020 3209 1160 or email challenges@kisharon.org.uk

Can I sign up on the day?
Yes, there will be an opportunity to register on the day but you will still be expected to achieve the appropriate minimum fundraising requirement. We recommend you sign up early and give yourself plenty of time to maximise your fundraising.

What is the minimum fundraising requirement?
This is a fundraising event and it is important that all participants achieve, and if possible exceed, the minimum sponsorship requirement.
Minimum requirements are £150 per person, £250 for a family of 4 including 2 children, £500 for a corporate team of 5 participants.

How do I send in sponsorship?
The easiest way to collect sponsorship is to set up a Justgiving page here; this way your family and friends can make quick, safe online donations to support your challenge. The money you raise on your JG page will then transfer straight to the Organiser, Kisharon, so you don’t have to do anything else. If you prefer to collect cash and cheques (payable to Kisharon) in the traditional way, they can be sent in to: Kisharon, First Floor, 333 Edgware Road, London, NW9 6TD. Please include a note or covering letter (make sure you include your name and address) so we know which participant(s) to attribute the donations to.

Credit/Debit Card
You can call us on 020 3209 1160 Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5.30pm and on Friday between 9am and 1pm. Let us know you’re making a donation towards your London Bridges Challenge sponsorship and we’ll be happy to take your details and process your card donation.

How are the funds split between the 2 charities?
As the organising charity, and responsible for all the event costs, Kisharon will receive 100% of funds raised by registrants who select Kisharon as their chosen charity at the point of registration. Jnetics will receive 80% of funds raised by registrants who select Jnetics as their chosen charity at the point of registration. The organising charity Kisharon will receive the other 20%. Kisharon will receive 80% of funds raised by registrants who select both charities at the point of registration. Jnetics will receive the remaining 20%. Kisharon will receive all event registration fees to help cover event costs.
