In need of retail therapy? We’re open!

19 June 2020

In need of retail therapy? The doors of Equal, Kisharon’s Gift and Homeware Store, are now open. In line with government guidelines, only two customers are allowed in the shop at any one time and there is hand sanitising at the door. You can get your bike fixed too, and even buy a new one, with the reopening of the Bike Shop.

Gift shop customers are asked to socially distance, and all areas cleaned regularly. One employee and a volunteer are running the shop and there are plentiful supplies of visors, masks and gloves for use.

The Bike Shop is open for repairs, servicing and sales, card payment only. Customers with bikes, buggies or wheelchairs to repair can leave and collect them from outside the shop.

Manager Eytan Bordoley, who is running the shop singlehandedly, had a busy first few days. He said: “I repaired 50 bikes and six new cycles I ordered were sold out in two days.”

New gift shop opening hours are 10am-4pm Monday – Thursday and 10-2pm on Friday and Sunday.

New opening hours at the Bike Shop are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am-4pm, Friday 9.30am-2pm. The shop is closed on Wednesdays.
