28 June 2023

Eighteen teams took part in Kisharon’s Golf Day at Hartsbourne Country Club in Bushey Heath raising £64k.

“It was great, a terrific day and wonderful funds raised. We really enjoyed the event, especially as we were the winning team!” Said Anne and Paula who with Jackie and Russele secured victory on the 18-hole course.

After a morning of golf in the sunshine, players enjoyed putting with pupils from Kisharon Noé School, followed by a drinks reception and barbecue lunch.

Kisharon parent Richard Weisfeld told participants his son Max ‘isn’t just going through the motions but he’s genuinely thriving,’ at Kisharon Supported Living.   “Max is happier and more fulfilled than we can remember and experiencing events and opportunities we never dreamed of,” he said.

Kisharon Chairman Philip Goldberg and committee member Tony Franks presented trophies to the winners.
Emma Nagli, Kisharon Fundraising Manager said: “We are extremely grateful to all the golfers, sponsors and donors for their wonderful support. The money raised is so greatly appreciated and will help to ensure that our essential services can continue, and that people with learning disabilities can continue to thrive.”
