Gathering at library for Tu B’Shvat planting

13 February 2020

More than 20 Kisharon School pupils and Kisharon College students gathered at Childs Hill Library to plant fruit bushes in the garden, celebrating Tu B’Shvat.

Local school, All Saints’ Primary joined in the activity with children who attend the school’s gardening club.

The children and Kisharon students planted 25 strawberry plants and 20 raspberry canes at the garden at the back of the library which is run by Kisharon.  Those attending learnt about the new year for  trees and the importance of planting new ones.

All Saints’ Primary School children were delighted to take part in the activity and said they were keen to link up with Kisharon for future events.
