Gamliel makes fine progress

17 March 2016

Kisharon School pupil, Gamliel Morgenstein has spoken his first word.

Gamliel, in the Rainbow class at Kisharon School, made a Makaton sign to indicate that he wanted more. Next, he clearly articulated the word ‘more’.

Class Teacher Katerina Danesh said: “Students and adults cheered and clapped for Team Rainbow! We are blessed with talented and committed people who make all the difference in bringing out potential, talents and commitment to achieving goals.”

Gamliel also took his first steps with help from Kisharon.

He first walked without a frame for support in November last year in the grounds of Mapledown School, in Cricklewood, which lets Rainbow Class use its specialised outdoor equipment every week.

“The world stands on three things: Torah, the service of G-d, and deeds of kindness.” Kisharon looks at the person not the disability, teaching Torah, Middos and Mitzvot embracing and cherishing everybody’s special talent and bringing out the best in them.
