Kisharon’s upbeat 2017 film ‘I’m Good’, set to a catchy soundtrack from The Mowgli’s, has been shortlisted for an EVCOM Clarion Award.
Made for the annual dinner in May when Kisharon raised more than £1million, ‘I’m Good’ had more than 8,000 social media hits in its first fortnight, making it Kisharon’s most watched film to date.
Around 60 adults and children were featured in the film, making it the biggest project in memory involving so many people supported by Kisharon.
Karen Benveniste, of Vanilla Films, said: “We featured people with learning disabilities and this made it all the more challenging but so rewarding that everyone was able to contribute.”
Kisharon is no newcomer to film awards. ‘Through my Eyes‘ which was shown at Kisharon’s annual dinner in 2015, won a Gold EVCOM Clarion Award and went on to win the Grand Prix Award. Another appeal film ‘What do you see when you look at me?‘ from 2014, also picked up an EVCOM Clarion award.
The awards ceremony will take place in central London on July 14.
