Immanuel, whose brother Elias is a pupil at Kisharon Noé School, raised £822.50 in a sponsored bike ride to mark his barmitzvah. Together with other barmitzvah boys, he cycled 13 miles. “Kisharon is very close to my heart,” Immanuel said. Elias is pictured with his mum Emma Castleton, Chair of Trustees at Kisharon Noé School.
Darren Morrison raised £485 in an outdoor sponsored swim at London Fields Lido in Hackney. In this, his 7th swim for charity, but the first for Kisharon, Darren swam 1500 metres. He said: “I have been greatly inspired by Rabbi David Mason of Muswell Hill Synagogue who has a son with special needs and brings him to the morning minyan. I also know of a number of other people in the community whose children have been helped by Kisharon. It does fantastic work!”
