Carolyn joined Kisharon as a part-time consultant before the match funding campaign in May. She has a wealth of fundraising experience behind her, as Assistant Director of Fundraising at Jewish Care for seven years and a consultant for Pears Foundation and the Wohl Legacy among others. Previously she was CEO of the Teaching Awards and Director of Publicity at Warner Bros. UK and also headed up the PR campaign for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.
Carolyn said: “I am delighted to have permanently joined the wonderful team at Kisharon. I feel truly privileged to be part of such an outstanding and forward-thinking organisation which works so hard to support people with learning disabilities and their families.”
Jessica joined Kisharon last year and stepped up to run the department for six months as Acting Director of Fundraising. She too is an experienced fundraiser having worked at the JW3, Cancer Research UK, Norwood and Crimestoppers.
Chief Executive Richard Franklin said: “Their appointment shows how Kisharon attracts high calibre staff with extensive experience and I am sure you join me in wishing them both every success.”
