Team Leader – Supported Living

2 full time posts available (part time may be considered – minimum 2-3 weekdays)

Location: NW11, London

Hours:     38 hours per week according to rota (or 19 hours per week part time – additional hours available as a Support Worker)

Salary:     £13.00 – £13.26 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced female Team Leader, or experienced female Support Worker ready to take on greater responsibility and leadership, to support the Service Manager in the running of our Supported Living homes. Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.

You will assist the Service Manager with ensuring the highest quality of life for the women supported, by supervising staff, managing the rota, liaising with health professionals/families, writing reports, quality checks, etc.

Kisharon Adult Services: Support Workers 

Location: North and North West London

We are looking for enthusiastic people, to support people with learning disabilities to live life the way they want, be independent, included in their communities and enjoy life.

Ability to support people with their Jewish observance, and work/volunteer experience with disabilities, are definite advantages, but we’re happy to train you if you can prove commitment to our shared values:

  • showing people dignity and respect at all times
  • striving to always provide excellent care and individualised support
  • working and learning together in innovative and collaborative teams
  • bringing our own interests, creativity and positivity to engage the people we support.

The role is varied and no two days the same. It will include:

  • organising activities that the person wants to engage in, such as Jewish activities, exercise, shopping, cooking, music, gardening and fun
  • enabling meaningful work experience
  • support with personal care needs
  • building opportunities and relationships in the local community

Flexible shifts on weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends/Shabbos: £9.50–£10.97 per hour dependent on qualifications.

Tuffkid Nursery: Nursery Nurse/Key Worker

Location: London NW11

Start date: September 2022

Hours:                  5 days a week (term time only)

Mon – Thurs:       8.15am – 3.45pm

Fri:                       8.15am -1.30pm

Ofsted rating “Outstanding” 2011 & 2016.

Tuffkid is looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic Nursery Nurse/Key Worker to join our passionate and dedicated team and work with special educational needs and mainstream children, following EYFS guidelines.

Experience with Special Educational Needs is not required as full training will be provided. Willingness to undertake NVQ Level 3 in Childcare is desirable.

Tuffkid brings extensive experience in nurturing the early development of children from 2 to 4 years of age. The Nursery Nurse/Key Worker will help to provide innovative and creative opportunities for children to grow and develop in a safe and stimulating environment.
