20 December 2018

Girls on a day off school volunteered at Kisharon College, Childs Hill Library and Kisharon School and had an insight into learning disability.

The pupils, from Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls, were at Kisharon on the day of their carol concert.
Learning about disability, the girls put themselves in the position of Kisharon service users and devised activities they would find useful.
At the library, the team helped run the library’s toddler rhyme time session and talked about the importance of songs for the development of language. The visitors met students from Kisharon College and pupils from Kisharon School.
They included Isabella Michaelson 11, Ashleigh Tepper 11, Tsala Bernholt 12, Jessica Walters 12, Tali Dickman 12 and 14-year-old Lauren Frankel.
