A trophy was presented to Eli Sulzbacher by Tottenham MP David Lammy at the House of Commons for taking part in the Hospital Kosher Meals Service sponsored walk every year for around three decades.

The ceremony at Westminster was held to honour top fundraisers in the 25km walk which takes place in the Hertfordshire countryside every summer. Eli, given the award for special effort, is always accompanied by his long-term Support Worker Moshe Perry and his father, Leo, who travels from Israel to accompany him.

Eli manages the distance easily, Moshe says. With him at Westminster was Team Leader Olugbenga Adekoya who said: “Eli was absolutely delighted.”
