Volunteering for Kisharon
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Kisharon. Thanks to their vital support, hard work and dedication, we are able to offer a hugely varied programme to children and adults with learning disabilities. Therefore, at Kisharon we are committed to ensuring that our volunteers are well supported and have a positive volunteering experience with us.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the growing and dynamic volunteering team at Kisharon. There are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available in each of our services, so whether you are looking for an administration role or an opportunity to work with the people we support, there is an exciting volunteering opportunity suited to you!

| Role | Travel Trainer and Job Coach Support an individual to travel from home to their work place. Men and Women required |
| Skills Required | Excellent communications skills. Patience and determination. Commitment to supporting an individual with learning difficulties. Numeracy and Literacy. |
| Commitment | One half day a week for a minimum of 3 months. |

| Role | Snack Box Driver Deliver snack boxes to different destinations and collect the old boxes. |
| Skills Required | Commitment to supporting an individual with learning difficulties. Driver of own car. |

| Role | Collection Boxes Coordinator Exchange full collection boxes for empty boxes at allocated shops/ venues |

| Role | Money Counter Count and accurately bag money returned from collection boxes. |

| Role | Tennis Buddy Play tennis with a man in his 30’s who lives independently. |
| Skills Required | Friendly Outgoing & understanding Decent tennis player |
| Commitment | Once a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday during the day |

| Role | Swimming Support (male & female) Teach small groups swimming and water skills |
| Skills Required | Qualified Lifeguard, or skilled swimmer with a strong personality to be able to manage a group |

| Role | Befrienders Visit adults living in supporting living accommodation for games, learning and discussion. |
