Asher Loftus Business Centre
The Asher Loftus Business Centre is a unique establishment offering work based learning projects and supported employment opportunities for school leavers and adults with learning difficulties.
The Business Centre offers a variety of opportunities including:
- a bicycle repair workshop
- a print shop
- a woodwork enterprise
- retail sales
The young people become involved in every aspect of these businesses from the manufacture to customer sales. They learn skills that are transferable, develop a strong work ethic and take pride in what they do. Following this training, employment is sourced and supported in the local community.
