Royal date for Kisharon

25 May 2017

A royal welcome awaited Janice Marriott, Tuffkid Head and David Abrahams, who is supported at the Ohel Rachel day service, at one of the Queen’s garden parties at Buckingham Palace.

Kisharon was invited to send two representatives to the garden party and Janice and David won the draw. Janice said: “It was a privilege and a very great honour. We walked through the main gate, and into the Palace to reach the garden which was beautiful. Three bands were playing and it was lovely to listen to the music and mingle with others there, finding out what they did and why they had been invited. We saw horses outside and the Changing of the Guard. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The Queen wasn’t the only member of the royal family in attendance. Janice and David saw the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Anne, Edward, Earl of Wessex, Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Princess Michael of Kent.
Coincidentally, the colour of the outfit Janice selected to wear at the event matched the one worn by the Queen. “I certainly didn’t receive that memo!” she joked.
