Seen Kisharon’s Chanukah appeal yet? There’s more to it than meets the eye.
Every comment in shimmering lights, ‘Menorah’, ‘light’, ‘family’, ‘Ma’oz Tzur’, ‘sing songs’, ‘doughnuts’ and ‘dreidel’ was a reply from an individual who uses Kisharon services when asked: ‘What does Chanukah mean for you?’
Clearly, Chanukah is a time of brightness, warmth and light.
Over the last 40 years, Kisharon has brought many bright ideas to fruition which have meant a generation of people with learning disabilities have learned new skills and now play a meaningful role in society These bright ideas have included our nursery, school, further education college, day care, supported living accommodation and employment resources – as well as social enterprise projects such as our bike repair shop, gift store and creative print studio.
To do this, we rely on funding from generous supporters. To make your donation, click here.
