No holds barred for football fan

30 November 2016

From the learning disabilities community

A Crystal Palace fan with learning disabilities has secured his dream job as a match day steward at Selhurst Park.

Graham Drew, 39, started working with the Premier League side outside the ground and was recently promoted to work inside the stadium on match days.

Graham lives independently in his own flat in Forest Hill, South London, with support.

Support team leader, Folahan Adebowale said: “We are delighted for Graham. As a Crystal Palace fan this is a dream come true. He loves being part of the action on match days and helping to make sure everything runs smoothly.

“We supported Graham to go for the job and fill in the relevant paperwork because we knew he could do it, and that he has a lot to give. He enjoys working with the public and the chance to shine as an ambassador for the club.”
