The new year has brought with it some exciting changes at Kisharon. Rabbi Yitzchak Freeman has been appointed Principal of the Day School and Nursery. His senior team has been boosted by the appointment of Sora Kopfstein (Assistant Head of the School) and Janice Marriott (Assistant Head of Early Years).
Mrs Kopfstein joins us from another Special School and brings with her years of teaching experience and a wealth of knowledge in Special Needs.
Mrs Marriott was Head of Tuffkid Nursery when it first started and brought it up to a very high standard before she left to live in the USA for the past 5 years.
We wish them hatzlocho in their new jobs at Kisharon and welcome them to the Kisharon community.
Jeffrey Gilbert has been appointed as the Manager of Adult Services. His management team includes Hadassa Kessler (Service Manager for Hendon), Gabby Gass (Service Manager for the Hackney Inclusion Project) and Lee Phillips (Deputy Manager of the HSH). These managers are being ably supported by our dynamic team leaders – Lola Hinds-Lowe, Aviva Braunold, Micki Herzog and David Sagman.
Yaakov Kramer is spearheading the Asher Loftus Business Centre which now incorporates an employment facility which is being enthusiastically led by the new Employment Manager, Rabbi Shlomo Weltman.
The service has been further invigorated by the appointment of new support workers and we welcome them to Kisharon.
In his new role as Limuddei Kodesh Music Coordinator, Rabbi Neuman has been spreading his magic across all of Kisharon services. Rabbi Neuman’s week is spent in Hendon, Hackney and the Day School and all our students and service users are benefitting from the increased Kodesh input.
There are lots of exciting initiatives planned and an information evening will be held after the Yomtaivim to introduce parents to the new staff and to give an insight into the programme we are now offering.
Head Office remains practically the same except that Lee Zucker is now Executive Assistant to Bev Jacobson.
