Ten extra places will be available for students to learn life skills at Hackney College from September this year.

In addition, current students who are making progress will be allowed to stay on for a further year’s study.

The key decisions were taken at a meeting when the college was described as ‘a fantastic success’. Held to review the provision and to make plans for the future, the meeting was attended by Kisharon and representatives of Hackney Community College. Attending too were Hackney’s Head of Learning Disabilities, Head of SEND and the Learning Trust’s Post 16 Project Officer, as well as representatives of Interlink, Side by Side and parents.
