Miles is ahead of the £8k Kisharon pack

11 August 2016

Miles Allen, of Hendon, was the first Kisharon rider back in the 100-mile Prudential London Ride.

Miles, who finished in 4:26:03, said: “It was brilliant, very exhilarating and I really enjoyed it. This was my first time riding for Kisharon; I entered on a previous year but got three punctures and couldn’t finish.”

Well done to the whole Kisharon team – Mendy Freundlich, Shloime Kaufman, Johnny Marks, David Nathan, Abe Rosenfield, Joel Sager, Alex Schajer, Simon Selouk and Moishe Vogel who together raised more than £8k.

The Prudential London Ride started in 2013 as  a legacy of the successful London Olympic 2012 Games, and has become a key event in an annual three-day festival of cycling.

Kisharon Chief Executive Bev Jacobson also took part in the event. She commented: “I have never enjoyed an event quite as much. To have all of London’s roads to yourself, ride past the city’s iconic sites then through the rolling hills of the Surrey countryside was a truly wonderful experience. I felt incredibly proud seeing Kisharon vests among the masses, and am hugely indebted to all the participants for their fantastic fundraising achievement.”
