Kisharon’s runners in the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday will be giving it their all to raise in excess of £28k.
For runner Bronte Snow, below, competing in the London Marathon ticks a box on her bucket list and the blog she wrote as she trained records her triumphs and disappointments. You can read it here. Support from family and friends exceeded all expectations and she has broken through her £2,250 fundraising target.
Bernard Fromson is no newcomer to running for Kisharon. He ran for Kisharon in the 2015 London Marathon and has taken part in other events since. This time he will be accompanied by his son, Sam and the pair have a joint £10k fundraising target.
For Shimon Lev, Sunday’s event is his fifth for Kisharon. He is related to the late Yoni Lev, who was supported by Kisharon, and is nearing his £2,250 fundraising target.
Runner, Shlomi Rokach, too, is nearing his £3k target.
Participant Ron Korczac set himself a fundraising target of £5k then doubled it when sponsorship rolled in. He said: “We feel incredibly lucky to be healthy and be blessed with three healthy kids, therefore we do not have to make use of a charity such as Kisharon. However, there are many people who benefit tremendously from their help. I have been to their fundraising events and have seen how important and meaningful their work is for those concerned.”
Good luck to Team Kisharon. Click on their names to sponsor them: Sam and Bernard Fromson, Bronte Snow, Shimon Lev, Shlomi Rokach and Ron Korczac.
