The focus was on Health Matters and is the first of a number of topics that will be run. The sessions are intended to encourage people supported by Kisharon to involve themselves their community.

All adults with learning disabilities in Barnet are being encouraged to take control of their own care by using My Health Matters, a health folder produced by the Barnet Learning Disabilities team, which they can review with GPs and medical staff.

Hate crime will be the next topic for the group when those attending will be invited to share their personal experiences and stories.
