M&S is making the morning routine easier with a new range of clothes for children using wheelchairs or frames or with sensory disabilities.The materials used are especially soft for sensitive skin, are easy to put on and can accommodate feeding tubes.

With the range very similar to the M&S main children’s collection, children have the same choice as their siblings or friends.

M&S worked with parents of children with disabilities and a consultant paediatrician to develop the range. It builds on the store’s first easy dressing schoolwear which was launched in 2016.

Rebecca Garner, Kidswear Designer at M&S said: “We are proud that every product started from listening to mums and dads. Parents passionately told us that disabilities don’t define their children, so the adaptations shouldn’t define their clothes.”
