Charlie the Dragon lent a helping hand when Mr Dentist, Jeremy Kaufman, taught children how to care for their teeth at Tuffkid Nursery.

They learnt the importance of brushing their teeth properly and Mr Kaufman demonstrated good practice with an oversized toothbrush and suggested brushing for two minutes, checking with an egg timer.

While examining Charlie’s teeth Mr Kaufman told children to steer clear of sweets, sweet drinks and too much dried fruit to avoid dental decay. The lesson about dental care extended to the animal world with children learning about elephants tusks, and the thousands of teeth snails use to eat fungi, rotting leaves and soil.
