Chief Executive Dr Beverley Jacobson led her team to victory in a Kisharon v Langdon football match on Mitzvah Day.

Down at 2 goals to Langdon’s 4, Kisharon steamed ahead to a 6-5 victory after Bev and her daughter Gemma joined the team at half time.

The Kisharon team, playing at Power League in Mill Hill, was made up of Eli Cohen, Moishe Goldblatt and Daniel Yefet, support workers and volunteers. The match was organised by Maccabi GB.

Bev said: “Langdon displayed wonderful sportsmanship – they had many experienced players but, in the spirit of the day and with the help of the Maccabi staff they went out of their way to give Kisharon a chance – and a hugely enjoyable time was had by all.”
