Adrian beats his own record in the Jerusalem half marathon

23 March 2016

Businessman Adrian Jacobs, from Hendon, raised more than £8,000 for Kisharon when he completed the Jerusalem half marathon last Friday (18 March) in two hours 36 minutes, shaving 12 minutes off his time last year.

A crowd of 30,ooo cheered on runners from 62 countries. On crossing the finishing line, Alan said: “The atmosphere was truly electric from start to finish. There is something very special about running this marathon which is unlike London or New York. Where else can you run past so many historic sites each one better than the next? My whole body tingled as I ran through the Old City – the crowd, the ambience and the cheers really spurred me on.”

Adrian, a long-term supporter of Kisharon added: “I am fundraising for an incredible charity that does wonderful things.”

There’s still time to support Adrian. Go to:  https://www.justgiving.com/AJacobs
